You ("Driver," "Partner," or "you") are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of Anneshy ROYALS Inc. ("ROYALS"). Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship between you and ROYALS.
As an independent contractor, you:
ROYALS does not withhold taxes from your payments. You will receive a 1099-K if your annual earnings exceed IRS thresholds.
ROYALS operates on a subscription model. You pay a flat fee for platform access and keep 100% of every fare. ROYALS earns zero commission on your rides.
New drivers receive a 14-day free trial (Silver/Gold) or 30-day free trial (Platinum, Captain) with no obligation. No credit card is charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before the trial ends with no charge.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period. No refunds for unused time within a billing period.
To drive on the ROYALS platform, you must at all times:
You are solely responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage. At minimum, you must carry:
ROYALS does not provide insurance coverage for drivers or riders. You must notify ROYALS immediately if your insurance lapses or is cancelled.
You must upload the following documents before your account can be activated:
ROYALS will review submitted documents within 48 hours. You may not accept rides until your application is approved. You will receive a notification when your status changes.
You must promptly update any document that expires. ROYALS may suspend your account if a required document expires without renewal.
For pre-booked rides, the platform suggests a recommended fare based on the route distance and duration. You may adjust this price before confirming the dispatch. Once confirmed, the fare is communicated to the rider.
For real-time ride requests, platform-standard pricing applies. On-demand fares are set by ROYALS based on market rates and are the same for all drivers. This ensures riders receive consistent, predictable pricing. You keep 100% of the displayed fare.
Riders may add a tip after trip completion. 100% of any tip goes directly to you. Tips are processed through Stripe Connect to your connected bank account.
Fares are collected from riders via Stripe and transferred to your connected Stripe Express account after trip completion. Payout timing is subject to standard Stripe Express processing (typically 1-2 business days).
To receive payouts, you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and have a verified bank account on file.
You agree to conduct yourself professionally at all times. The following are required:

Riders rate you after each trip (1-5 stars). ROYALS monitors your rating. After completing 50 or more trips:
You will receive notice and an opportunity to improve before deactivation for rating reasons.
ROYALS may immediately suspend or terminate your account for:
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting support.
ROYALS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the ROYALS app solely to provide transportation services through the platform. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any ROYALS technology.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ROYALS, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your transportation services, your violation of this Agreement, or your violation of any law.
ROYALS's total liability to you is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. ROYALS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
This Agreement is governed by California law. Disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration in San Francisco County under AAA rules. You waive your right to a jury trial and class action participation.
ROYALS may update this Agreement from time to time. We will notify you at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
